Sell Your Vehicle to a Real Buyer — Not a Generator
Never leave your driveway.
Send Alex a few photos from your phone and get a real offer back - that fast. Or he'll drive to your house, your office, your job site, wherever your vehicle happens to be, and appraise it in person. Title in hand? You get a check the same day.
Hi, I'm Alex Sherman. I'm part of the ownership here at Dean Auto Group, and I handle vehicle buying personally - which means when you reach out, you're talking to me, not a call center or an online form.
I do this the easy way. Send me photos and details from your phone and I'll get you a remote appraisal without you going anywhere. Prefer I see it in person? Tell me where it is and I'll come to you - your home, your workplace, on your schedule. It usually takes 15 to 30 minutes.
You'll get a real, up-to-the-minute number based on what this market is doing right now, not an online estimate that's weeks out of date. I buy every make and model, whether you bought it from us or not, and whether you're trading up or just cashing out. No pressure, no games.

How fast can I get paid for my vehicle? As long as you have your title in hand, we can appraise your vehicle, make an offer, and hand you a check the same day. Most appraisals take only 15 to 30 minutes.
Do I have to bring my vehicle to the dealership? No. We offer free mobile appraisals and will come to you at home or work. Just text, call, or email our buying manager to set up a time.
How is your offer different from an online estimate like Kelley Blue Book? Online tools give you a ballpark based on data that may be weeks old. Our buying manager appraises your specific vehicle against the live, current market, so your offer reflects what it's actually worth today - often more than a generic generator shows.
What kinds of vehicles do you buy? We buy cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans of every make and model, in a wide range of conditions and mileage.
What do I need to bring to sell my car? Bring your vehicle title, a valid photo ID, and any keys, remotes, and service records you have. Having your title ready lets us pay you the same day.
Do I have to trade in for another vehicle, or can I just sell? Either works. You can trade toward a new or used vehicle, or simply sell us your car outright for cash.
Who do I contact to get started? Reach out to Alex Sherman, our buying manager, directly by text, call, or email. He'll set up your appraisal and walk you through every step.

Special Situations FAQ
Can Alex buy a vehicle from an estate? Yes. Alex regularly purchases vehicles from estates and works directly with executors, administrators, and family members. He understands these sales often come during a difficult time, and he'll handle the process patiently and at whatever pace works for the family. Reach out and he'll walk you through what's needed before anything is signed.
How do I sell a vehicle that belonged to someone who passed away? Vehicles owned by someone who has passed away can usually be sold by the estate's executor or administrator, or in some cases by a surviving spouse. The exact paperwork depends on the situation and the state where the vehicle is titled. Alex has handled many of these sales and will tell you upfront exactly which documents to gather, so nothing is a surprise. If you're not sure what you have, contact Alex and he'll help you sort it out.
Can I sell a vehicle if I have power of attorney for a relative? Yes, in most cases. Alex frequently buys vehicles from family members acting under power of attorney for a parent, spouse, or relative who is ill, injured, or unable to handle the sale themselves. Bring or send a copy of the power of attorney document along with the title information, and Alex will review what's required before you go any further.
I'm caring for a sick or injured family member who can no longer drive. Can you help? Absolutely. This is one of the most common situations Alex handles. If your loved one can't get to a dealership - or you simply can't leave them - Alex will come to you. He'll appraise the vehicle wherever it's parked, explain the paperwork clearly, and keep the whole thing as easy as possible on your family.
Can I sell a vehicle during a divorce or separation? Yes. Alex works with individuals and couples going through divorce or separation regularly. If the title is in one person's name, that person can typically sell it. If it's in both names, or if a settlement or court order affects the vehicle, Alex will let you know what's needed. He handles these quietly and professionally, and he can work with each party separately if that's easier.
What if the title isn't in my name? Contact Alex before you do anything else. Estates, power of attorney, divorce settlements, and jointly titled vehicles all have a path forward - they just require the right documents. Alex will tell you exactly what to gather and can often get answers back to you the same day.
Do you buy vehicles from out of state? Yes. Alex purchases vehicles titled outside Pennsylvania and is familiar with the differences in out-of-state title and transfer paperwork. Send him the details and he'll confirm what's needed for your state.
